Breed of Discovery

I know you’re all wondering about the fourth book in the series, but I don’t have an estimated release date. As soon as I have anything resembling a solid idea of one, I will blast it from the rooftops to let y’all know. (Okay, so that’d only help those in Florida, but I WILL tweet/blog/Facebook about it, and be sure to update this page as well.)

I can’t promise anything short of saying that yes, I AM continuing the series, and yes, I AM still working on it. Promise.

Hi Lanie! I just wanted to say I love your books so much!! I’ve read this series at least 3 time, and I’ve read Karma’s a witch series as well (loved that one too!). Can’t wait for book 4!

I’ve truly enjoyed the Breed Chronicles. I just finished the first three for the second time. Usually, after I’ve read a series for the first time, I wait to read it again until I know that the series is either complete or has an additional one or two new novels written. But I really liked this one, so I read it anyway lol I write when the urge hits me, and haven’t completed anything yet, so I get the process. So I’m not going to ask when it will be finished. I’m just curious as to how it’s coming along?

    • Thanks, Courtney! I’ve tried really hard to make sure none of the books ended on a cliffhanger simply because I know I’m a slow writer and I hate waiting, too. (But it’s especially bad with cliffhangers!)

I’ve had a few rough spots the last few months on it, but it’s going better now!

Whyyy??? Almost a year and still only halfway!? Need more now! I understand writing can be hard and you can take as much time as you need/want so just ignore me here. But still why??? :'( Hope your having a good day and sending good productive and creative thought to get the book here sooner. Cary on ill just be here waiting…. Politely impatient.

    • LND, I’ve been asking myself the same question, so I get it! This book is just a beast. I think it’s been partly mental, because I’ve been waiting to write this book since the beginning, and partly the book itself, because this is a complicated one with a LOT going on. (And I apparently do not work well under pressure–even if it’s just from myself!)

Thank you! We can both be politely impatient with this thing! *grin*

I have literally read the first 2 books back to back today. Just started the third. Seeing as you are still writing the forth can ask for some action between Jade and Peter I’m seriously going nuts with second male sendrom reading this. Lol but seriously even if he just kissed her and she still ends up with Linc that’s fine but please. Lol.

Im reading the series for the third time now and it always amazes me how much i love these books. Your a very talented writer and not to be rude but it’s 2017 and The Breed of Discovery is still not out. I’m a very impatient person so please hurry up because I can find any books like this series. In the fourth book I hope Jade fights more and shows off her new found strength to her bullies. love you lots

    Any update on book 4?

Hello. I was just wondering if your still writing the book or not because it’s been so long since you posted anything on here.

  9. Hey, y’all! Sorry for the late responses. I get hundreds of spam comments weekly, and since I don’t want you guys to have to sift through those or see them, I have to manually approve comments. (Which I’m horrible at remembering to do!)

I’m going to try to respond to each one individually, but in case I can’t get to it today, I wanted to post the link to a recent blog post I wrote:

There’s no real update, but hopefully that post will help explain why I can’t give a proper update. But just know that I am writing—everyday!—and book 4 is still coming! Promise.
