Karma's A Witch

Despite the weird name and the whole adoption thing, Topaz’s life is pretty average. She has a boss she doesn’t like, a cat who thinks the world revolves around her, a best friend she’s crushed on for years, and a day job that keeps her from her dream job of being an author. All perfectly normal things.

But everything changes when she slips on a letter that appears out of nowhere. The letter–written by her biological mother–proves just how abnormal things really are. Not only does she have two sisters, but she’s also a hereditary witch.

Just when Topaz starts thinking that maybe there’s something to this magic thing, she learns a lesson all new witches learn: Magic isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. And sometimes, Karma can be a real witch.

Is there an anticipated release date for this?

I can’t wait for this book to come out, I have already bought the first and second books.

    Waiting patiently for karma’s a witch. :):):)

Is there a release date? Waiting patiently…kinda 😉

  5. Currently, I don’t have a release date, but I am hard at work on the story. I should have a better idea of where I’m at by the end of the month.

You can check out this page for a little more information.

Also, to those who commented last year: My old theme didn’t allow for comments on pages, so I had no way to respond to them! And I’m actually dying to know how y’all left comments in the first place, LOL.

You finished it! I LOVE YOU!! Seriously, thank you for persevering through all your troubles. I have been looking forward to reading this book for what seems like forever. Also if you have that much trouble typing maybe Dragon Naturally Speaking pro could help? I haven’t used it but it seems to get good reviews. Thanks again!

    • I did! Finally.

Thank you for the kind words and for waiting. It’s so past due and y’all have been waiting patiently for so long. I’m totally giving myself the Worst Author of The Year award. Pretty sure I earned it for 2014!

And thanks for the Dragon Naturally Speaking suggestion. It’s already on my to-buy list for when my hands are acting up really bad!

bought it this morning and read it all in one sitting – couldn’t put it down! Well done for finishing. The result was worth it! As the first 3 were written by different authors, who’s going to continue the story?

    • Thanks, Lisa! Glad you enjoyed it. 🙂

Since my book took me so long to finish, I think it kind of messed with things. It may take a bit of time before there’s a concrete Plan of Action in place–if that makes sense. And the last thing I want to do is give you or anyone else wrong or misleading information. I’ll try to post an update on my blog if/when I learn anything new, but it might also be a good idea to follow Elizabeth and Hope on Facebook for updates.

I came across your new book by accident tonight and I liked what I was reading on amazon so I set out to find the 1st and 2nd book. I now have all 3. I had a question about who would be following up on the story after the 3rd and found your site. I see your suggestion to follow the other 2 authors but they don’t have that option of liking them like you do on your facebook page. I’m wondering if you would put any comment on a new entry when and if it arrives no matter who writes it. Here or on your facebook page? I’ll be following . Next on my list is your Breed of Chronicles, something else to follow you for. 🙂
        Thank you.

        • Hi Denise!

I think what I’m going to do now is make a page dedicated to the Karma’s Witches series and put any updates there so you (and anyone else interested in the series) will have somewhere to get info. But yes, I’ll be sure to post on my website and Facebook about the series, too. I’ll try not to leave anyone hanging again!

Thanks for the accidental idea. 😉 And I hope you enjoy the Breed Chronicles if/when you get to them!

  8. Right now, there are no updates, but future updates will be here.

    Hi Lanie,
That’s a great and very much appreciated idea! As for the Breed Chronicles I will definitely get to them. I like your writing style, It leaves me wanting more of the story. Thank you for that. 🙂

  10. Posted an update about the series here, if y’all are interested!

(Hopefully for the blog followers, it doesn’t alert you twice. I just want to make sure everyone has a chance to see it!)
